- Math - pick between 5-10 objects at home (try and find similar objects, for example, toys - toy cars,
cereal box, cracker box, etc) try to classify the objects into a venn diagram using either 2 or 3 attributes - Sample attributes: size, colour, shape, number of sides, number of wheels, weight, etc.
- There are a few students who don't have indoor shoes- Please ensure your child has indoor running shoes and perhaps some extra socks or gloves in case they get wet during the cold and wet days.
- French work on Google Classroom
- This Friday is a PA Day - unless you have an interview scheduled. (it's still a PA Day) Thank you to all those who have signed up for interviews this Thursday afternoon/evening and Friday morning. I encourage the students to come take part in the interview and advocate for themselves and take part in the conversations and discussions.

- Please remember to send indoor shoes to school - preferably a pair that can stay at school
- If you have not already done so, you may now log onto Edsby (yrdsb.edsby.com) and sign up for a parent-teacher interview either next Thursday November 22nd after school or the morning of Friday November 23rd. Please note that you will need to create an account on Edsby if you haven't already done so.
- The Social Studies - Specialized Communities assignment has been changed to Tuesday Deadline
Please make sure your child dresses appropriately for the cold weather - perhaps send extra socks or clothes and make sure their gloves are waterproof!

- Today in math we talked about different attributes - ways of classifying objects/shapes, ask your child to explain this to you. We used a Venn Diagram to compare shapes  and colour

- drawing the time indicated on a clock, providing the missing information, either start time, end time or duration, word problem, and indicating the temperature on a thermometer
- Each student has received a sheet regarding a survey called "Every Student Counts Survey" in which a unique code is written for each student.
- Friday is Twin day - If your child does not have someone they would like to dress alike with, we will come up with a class idea!
