- Scientists in the school - TOMORROW DEC 12th - Please make payment on schoolcashonline.com and bring back the form signed (if you have not already done so - otherwise thank you) - volunteers are welcome - we will be having the program tomorrow from 8-11am
- I would like to have the students complete the current social studies assignment - jobs in Ontario by the end of this week (google docs/slides)
- Students who did not complete their French test will do so tomorrow
- Students are no longer permitted to take out books from the school library until after the break - However, students are more than welcome to take books home from the class provided that they are returned.

- Today we had a look at the book fair, if you would like to purchase something for your child, we will be returning tomorrow afternoon for a chance to purchase any items they have seen.

- In math we are continuing data management - data collection and different types of graphs - reading and drawing
- In Social Studies we are working on a small assignment based on different jobs in Ontario
- Today I handed back the rubric for the soil assignment as well as the forces quiz we did the other day in which we also took up together.

- Today in Health we discussed fire safety - we made a list of things to do in case of fire at home, school and in the community
- The grade 8 students are selling cookies as a fundraiser. They will be delivered once a week for the next 3 weeks - If you are interested you may purchase it on schoolcashonline.com
- Monday is Day 1 - Please remember to bring back your library books
- Just as a reminder we will be writing the gifted screening test on Monday Dec 3rd - 3x10minutes in the morning and 3x10 minutes before lunch - Tuesday morning we will write the final 3x10minute tests
- Wednesday Dec 12th we will be having Scientists in the School come to our class to do a science workshop on forces and movement
- FRIDAY DEC 14th - We will be having our winter concert. All (grade 2 and 3) classes will be performing. You are ALL welcome to join us for the presentation
